18th Annual Four Seasons Night Out

Four Seasons Nursery has been a rock in our community since 1980, and this fall they’re bringing back a favorite annual event: Four Seasons Night Out! Whether you’re shopping their plant and gift collection, digging into wood-fired pizza, or enjoying some live music by Rev. Jessie and the Holy Smokes, you’ll have a blast—plus, you could win one of their awesome prize giveaways!

Lambuth Lantern Festival

Date: Friday, November 1
Time: 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Location: University of Memphis Lambuth (705 Lambuth Boulevard)
Cost: $7 for wristband; additional $7 for lantern

Enjoy a fall evening out in midtown at the Lambuth Lantern Festival! Between carnival rides, a zipline, and live music from the Skeleton Krew, you’ll get a lot for the $7 fee that goes to veteran fund Mission 22. Make sure to also join for Veterans Walk and, of course, the lantern release for an additional $7.

FCE Christmas Cottage

Date: Friday, November 22 & Saturday, November 23
Time: Friday 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.; Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Location: Madison County Agricultural Service (309 North Parkway)
Cost: Free!

Time to stock up on holiday gifts, and you’ll find something for everyone on your list at the annual FCE Christmas Cottage, celebrating their 39th year! Make sure to also join for the chili lunch, not to mention the Christmas photo booth supporting Madison County 4-H.

Exercise: Your boot scootin’ feet
Boots, Bands & Bingo

Date: Friday, November 8
Time: 7:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
Location: STAR Center (1119 Old Humboldt Road)
Cost: $30

Join in a fundraiser for a variety of non-profits at Jackson Service League’s annual Boots, Bands & Bingo. Between dancing to live band Neon Casino Club, competing in the bingo tournament hosted by Jackson Escape Rooms’ Lee Wilson, and dinner from Baker Bros. BBQ, your $30 donation will take you far—not to mention the two included drinks from Century Farm Winery, Samuel T. Bryant Distillery, and more. And don’t forget to add your bid to the silent auction!

Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Katie Howerton moved to Jackson in 2011 to study Graphic Design and Drawing at Union University. She discovered Our Jackson Home in January 2015 and used it as a guinea pig for her senior design project, creating the first issue of Our Jackson Home: The Magazine. After graduating she was given leadership over Our Jackson Home at theCO, where she now runs the blog, designs the magazine, and coordinates events. She lives with her husband Jordan and daughter November in Midtown and loves her community at City Fellowship Baptist Church.
