9th Annual Motor Mania Car Show

Location: Jackson Fairgrounds (800 South Highland Avenue)
Cost: $5 (free for kids ages 5 and under)

If you’ve got a car buff in the fam, you’ll want to bring them to Thomas Media’s 9th Annual Motor Mania Car Show at the Fairgrounds. Whether you’re there for the classic models, motorcycles, or monster trucks, your vote for the best counts. And don’t worry—there will be plenty of activities for those who don’t identify as car-lovers: bouncy houses, live music, and even a free Hot Wheels for the first 300 kids at the event. Plus, it’s only $5—free for kids 5 and under!

Experience: A City-Wide Escape Game
Prohibition

Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Katie Howerton moved to Jackson in 2011 to study Graphic Design and Drawing at Union University. She discovered Our Jackson Home in January 2015 and used it as a guinea pig for her senior design project, creating the first issue of Our Jackson Home: The Magazine.
