There are few things more perfect on a summer night than live music on a front porch, and on July 31, 2018, Our Jackson Home hosted Jackson's first ever 731Day Porchfest! Folks from all over our community enjoyed FREE and family-friendly music from local musicians throughout the historic Lambuth/midtown area (specifically Wisdom Street and Division Avenue) in the hospitable yards of their Jackson neighbors. Guests were invited to join in on the fun as long as they liked, moving from house to house with their own lawn chairs or picnic blankets and grabbing snacks from local food trucks along the route.
This year we will have two routes to accommodate more musicians, one along Campbell starting at Walnut and the other weaving through Division and Wisdom, and the finale performance by LOLO will be on Crescent where the two paths will meet at 8:30pm.
