There are few things more perfect on a September night than live music on a front porch, and this year, we're continuing with one of our new favorite traditions with the 9th Annual Porchfest, presented by Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical, on September 12th, 2026!

Enjoy FREE and family-friendly music from local musicians throughout the midtown neighborhood of Edenwood Dr. and Wildwood Ln. Join in on the fun as long as you'd like, moving from house to house with your own lawn chair or picnic blanket and grabbing snacks from local food trucks.

This year features seven artists showcasing the best of West Tennessee music across a variety of genres, plus an interactive art installation, kids activities and a pre-event poetry porch!

Miley Rea is a local multimedia artist with a policy of “all in and willing to try anything once,” from small-to-large-scale paintings, photography, hand carved prints, and poetry. Her friends have fondly referred to her as “a quilt both in friendship and craft.” When she’s not creating, you can find her deeply enthralled by learning someone’s story, serving as a photojournalist in other countries, and hosting craft nights with dear friends (and cat Pip) in her little midtown apartment.

Adam is a Jackson-based musician who blends together soulful vocals, piano-driven songs, and a little bit of West Tennessee style. His music tries to feel familiar without trying too hard — rooted in the kind of songs people want to sing along to. Whether behind a keyboard or with a guitar close by, Adam’s style is laid-back, heartfelt, and built for a front porch kind of crowd.

Formerly known as The MLK Choir, the Hub City Mass Choir was co-founded by the late Minister Jackie Burns and Stedman Roebuck Sr. with a vision of bringing singers from all denominations together through music, fellowship, and worship.

The choir exists to showcase the incredible talent of local singers and musicians while honoring hometown legends who have made meaningful contributions to Jackson and West Tennessee.

In January 2019, Burns and Musical Director Stedman Roebuck brought their vision to life with the city’s first MLK Concert. As the choir and audience grew, the event moved to historic First Baptist Church in 2020. Following Burns’ passing, a dedicated team of young people continued his vision and carried the choir forward.

Today, the Hub City Mass Choir continues to build community through music, fellowship, and worship. The choir has performed throughout Jackson and West Tennessee, including appearances at Porchfest with Carita Cole and Lolo’s Christmas Show.

New members are always welcome, and the Hub City Mass Choir is currently booking engagements for 2026.
