We have a wide variety of things to do in Jackson. I feel like there are a lot of new things we can benefit from as we progress and learn from each other.

hi, i’m jacob…

What are the best opportunities for residents in Jackson to grow, learn and succeed?

“By continuing to grow and improve online services for people and businesses, we can help improve the quality of how we work and live.”

What do you see as the biggest challenges for residents in Jackson to live healthy, productive and fulfilling lives?

There are things in Jackson that compete in good and bad ways as we work to have a healthier community. There will always be that one side of us where we want things that aren’t great for us either personally or for the community as a whole. We’ve got to learn how to balance what we want and what is best.”

What do you believe are the biggest strengths within your neighborhood or the bigger Jackson community.

“We have a wide variety of things to do in Jackson as a whole. If we continue to grow and improve these, there is a lot we can learn as we progress.”

Do you think things threaten people's ability to live healthy, productive and fulfilling lives in Jackson? If so what are those things?

“Yes, one of them is the violence in Jackson. People are becoming scared to go out because we don't know if it will be the last thing we will do. In a way it weakens the trust between us and makes us more suspicious of one another.”
